Taking minimalism and making the most of it, two piece Jekylnhyde puts forth a unique sound to the monotonous mainstream. In a world of similarity Jekylnhyde stands on the shoulders of giants, just to walk over not around. Such influences as Faith No More, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Fantomas, Primus and many more, Jekylnhyde takes their place on the podium of this day and age's most talented musicians. Members Nate Localio (Guitar/Vocals) and Colby Chase (Drums/Vocals) write with an unbridled passion and sense of style that surpasses what many perceive as music. Breaking musical boundaries is just one of their fortes. Sporadic time signature changes, odd vocal patterns/lyrics, off tempo rhythms, a pure unrestrained rock & metal feel, and a stage presence that can only be dignified in sight, make up the intensity of Jekylnhyde. With their recent, self titled release, Jekylnhyde moves forward in the music industry receiving attention every step of the way. Their first album, self titled "Jekylnhyde," produced by Eric Rachel (Dillinger Escape Plan, Hatebreed, A Life Once Lost) and mastered by Alan Douches (Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Fall Out Boy)is on sale now on iTunes and at other fine retailers. Expect to see these guys on tour across the US this October.
