BUDDHAGITTA is a Tokyo based djentstep band.The band name stands for "cut the thing boldly in Japanese" and that metaphor towards to the core of the band's sound which is not only mixing heavy sound with hip hop or DJ, but also putting whatever cool sound together.
The band mainly plays heavy music with both high&low shouts, but unlike typical metal sounds, we have blended dubstep beats and clean singing to our djent tunes. The current BUDDHAGITTA are made by 2 members;
Vo.& Gt & Prog.-Jay, Gt-Tomo, Sampler/Scratch-DJ MAPPA.
