【TOROMOS Biography】
In 2007 Lautrec, the predecessor of Toromos, was formed by four people: Naoe (drums) from ex Pool; Konn (guitar & vocal); Takut (guitar); and Kambe (bass) from ex Adrift-str.
The band name was adopted as we were moved by the fierce profile of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, but unfortunately we put an end to the band when Takut withdrew from the band.
In July,2007 the remaining three members resumed music activities and were joined by Tokunou (guitar) from ex Adrift-str, leading to the birth of TOROMOS.
In 2008 we met Nob (drum) from ex APES, who used to play music in London, and were greatly inspired by his experience and deep insights into music. Then we started creating our own music influenced by a diversity of music such as post-rock, emo, math-rock, storner-rock, punk, indie, hardcore and alternative.
