He started playing trumpet when he was 12 years old. After graduating from a university, he achieved the grand prix award at the 23rd Asakusa Jazz Contest. In his own unit KARATETS, he performed at Yokohama Jazz Competition in 2007 and received many awards. He joined the funk band “Osaka Monorail” in 2003. Since he left the band in May 2006, he’s been a support member of EGO-WRAPPIN'. His first CD was released in July 2008 from UZU RECORDS.
