Known for Dj'ing and his insightful and engaging thoughts on American politics, American born L-Spade (born Marcus Johnson) has decided to step out as a rapper. Based in Memphis Tennessee L-Spade Dj'ed for major artists and in popular clubs around the United States. In 2012 he moved to Japan to expand his brand. Blessed with an impeccable work ethic and a great ear for music, L-Spade quickly began to make connections in Japan's music and fashion industries. He currently Dj's in the Chiba and greater Tokyo Area and is a regular at Ocean Deep in Chiba city. Whilst making a name in Japan L-Spade felt a need to broach topics that he believes are not being touched upon in mainstream Hip-Hop. Now, with pen and pad, DJ L-Spade hopes to inspire and incite change with his lyrics.
